She is the twin sister of Lee Jaeyeong, who is also a member of the South Korea national volleyball team. Domestically, she plays for Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders in the VLeague, a professional volleyball league in South Korea. She and her twin sister, are banned indefinitely for accusations of bullying and scholar violence.
