The name Funkdoobiest came later in 1991 from a song BReal from Cypress Hill had written called The Funkdoobiest. Quote from a Ralph M interview: So one day Muggs and myself were rollin around in L. A. and I said yo, we the Funkdoobiest: Ralph M. , Son Doobie, Tomahawk And it s been history that name was too dope to just be a song. Tomahawk Funk aka TFunk left the group after the second album Brothas Doobie Tomahawk Funk aka TFunk rejoined the band for the album The Golden BBoys (2009)
