Influencer Aanvi Kamdar Dies After Falling Into Gorge While Filming Reel, Raigad, Maharastra

A fun trip with friends turned out to be a nightmare for Mumbaibased chartered accountant Aanvi Kamdars family when she fell into a gorge from the waterfalls and died while making reels. The incident took place in Maharashtras Raigad district. The 27yearold content creator, who was on a monsoon outing with seven friends, fell into the 300footdeep gorge near the famous Kumbhe waterfall at Mangao while making a video on Tuesday, a police official said. While making a video of the scenic surroundings, she slipped and fell into the gorge, he said. The police and locals managed to reach the accident spot, rescued her and rushed Kamdar to the nearby Mangaon taluka government hospital, where she died during treatment, said the official. She fell on the hard, slippery patch of rocks around 300ft into the valley and couldnt be spotted initially. She was sent up using a stretcher attached to rappelling ropes.
