Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic pledged no change over his countrys stance towards Russia when feeling the facetoface pressure from visiting German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Meanwhile, Vucic reiterated Serbia s condemnation over Russia s invasion of Ukraine but insisted his reluctance to sanction Moscow. During his 3hour visit to Belgrade, which is part of Scholz twoday trip to the Balkans the German Chancellor underlined that Serbia should end its balancing act between the EU and Russia and adopt the bloc s sanctions if it s serious about joining the bloc.
