Bhoomiputra is about present day politics. Ravi Kishen, who plays the lead role in the film, is a Bihari youth who loves a Marathi girl. The inevitable Bihari Marathi issue crops up in the film. But the film shows that this is vested interest issue and that the people love each other in reality. The interesting part of the movie is that in this movie Ravi Kishen has played several characters.
