I noticed in my analytics how many people still love the Doom 2016 soundtrack and it gave me the drive to crank this one out. I knew I wanted to go a bit bigger if possible than usual though. As with my first Doom cover, I wanted to challenge myself to only use guitars for this, no synths. I real opposite of what Mick Gordon was originally tasked with. I worked hard in replicating the synths with guitar effects and reverbs to create a similiar vibe and I really took a lot of time to mix this differently than I usually do.
