Wheeler And Wilson (1938)
Note: Probably filmed in the Pathe studio. L, S s of man walking onto set dressed as a sailor he confronts a man dressed as a porter (Cataloguers note: These are the two famous comedians Wheeler and Wilson unable to identify which is which). The sailor who is quite an aggressive character tells the porter to get rid off the dead mouse under his nose, referring to the large bushy moustache he has. The porter retaliates by calling the sailor a mothhole. The sailor asks, What s a mothhole to which the porter replies Nothing with a piece of cloth round it The porter then points to the strange bird the sailor is carrying in his bird cage. A C, U reveals that it is a bottle of spirits. The sailor says that it is a swallow, to which porter replies I bet he s full of spirit . The pair argue and joke their way through the conversation.
