This hunt marks a new tradition for me each fall; a trip to South Dakota to chase mule deer. As a western hunter I never would ve imagined the mule deer quality in SD. The terrain, weather and animals are nothing like I would ve expected. I spent four days this October with a legendary bowhunter and friend, Jared Bloomgren. Learning from him, we both tried to tackle
