WATCH: Space X launches NASAs newest telescope into orbit, Live NOW from FOX

On Tuesday, SpaceX launched SpectroPhotometer for the History of the Universe, Epoch of Reionization and Ices Explorer (SPHEREx), NASA s newest telescope, into orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. It s set to perform the first allsky survey of its kind, a sweeping look at hundreds of millions of galaxies and their shared cosmic glow since the beginning of time. The launch also included another NASA mission, Polarimeter to Unify the Corona and Heliosphere (PUNCH), which will study the Suns solar wind.
