Non Pipe Leather Welting Leather tips

I want to share another way of doing custom piping I will use on my next project. It is only applicable to upholstery leather considering the strip of leather should be skived on both sides at a certain distance leaving the center raised. After folding and glueing together both flaps a rounded protuberance would be formed the center. It is advisable the use of a leather skiving machine. The small tubes could change to different diameters. I have used a strip of leather 1. 2 mm thick and 3. 2 cm wide.
