Tracklist below, Mother Gong was a later ofshoot of the legendary psychedelic hippie and progressive rock group Gong. It was created by member and poetess Gilli Smyth (19332016) when she released her first album Mother in 1978. It was the start of a Gong that was inspired by female aspects of spirituality, witchcraft and magic, moon principles and a Mother theme that should be understood in a wide sense containing the properties for the energy of cosmic birth, healing and mystery. Fish In The Sky came out in the late 80 s. The lineup consisted of Gilli Smyth, Harry Williamson, Robert Calvert, Conrad Henderson and Robert George. It s a great album of spontaneous psychedelic composition and also tells Gilli s poetic story about the immersion in the psychedelic 60 s and early 70 s.
