Very kind of the two surviving Wiyapka Lake pups to put on a little show for the camera this winter Note the very interesting and unique facial markings on these pupsboth have dark faces, muzzles and the one has lightcolored rings of fur around his eyes. The Wiyapka Lake Pack had 6 pups in Spring 2022 so two of the 6 pups survived. Although that is only a 33 survival rate, that is pretty typical in our areamost pups simply dont make it. And we actually were able to collar the one with lightcolored rings around his eyes this spring and have been studying his behavior and movements.
