When a submarine was detected off the coast of Stockholm in 2014 the Swedish government launched a week long military operation trying to find the Russian submarine but it was never found. Swedish peace advocacy group the Swedish Peace and Arbitration Society felt this was ridiculous use of tax payer money and presented their own solution.
