filmed by Laurent Gentot This ballet, Romance, was choreographed in the 1980s by a then young Dmitri Briantsev, who later became artistic director of the Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich Danchenko Ballet company. In 2005, when the Stanislavky Ballet was performing in Prague. Briantsev, at the age of 57, was murdered while going for a walk, outside the hotel that the company was residing at.
