The Monastery of Saint Catherine the Hope for Humanity

The documentary, entitled The Monastery of Saint Catherine the Hope for Humanity, was created by the St. Catherine Project for the Monastery several years ago, before the current crisis unfolded. The film presents a general overview of the Holy Sinai Monastery and its role in the region and the wider world of today, as well as many centuries ago, as a constant agent of peace, mutual respect and cooperation between the diverse ethnic and religious forces. Archbishop Damianos and others talk about these issues and about the complex historical heritage of St. Catherines.
