Animal Trainers Aka Animal Farm (1960)
C, U looking down onto a carrying basket strapped to the back of an animal as it walks along; M, S in a street in Wallingford near Oxfordshire as we see Mary Holmes walking along with a lamb on a lead who is carrying the basket. Commentator tells us this oneyearold lamb is called Daisy May, as Mary stops to look in a shop window. M, S of two young girls with Mary in a garden, petting a large pig called Charlie; C, U as they feed it some sponge fingers. M, S as Mary takes a bowl of egg covered meat over to a box in the garden for Bill the badger. He puts his front paws onto the box as Mary dangles pieces of meat for him; commentator tells us Mary and her husband John are animal trainers. C, U of Pilot the Husky dog being petted by some children; M, Ss as John leads Pilot off along a track in a field; the dog is harnessed to a sledge with three children on it (phew Must be quite a weight to pull ). The children s mother watches with a baby in her arms. M, S as Mary puts a bowl of food down in the garden;
