1. Women experience depression 2 times more often as men, partly due to social inequality (dailymail) 2. 63 of people in Russia have a negative attitude towards the struggle for women s rights (anketolog) 3. Per every 1000 men in Russia there are 1208 women. But gender pay gap is still 35 in favor of men (tochno) Analysis of the problems of modern women, study of communities, collection of opinions led to the conclusion that in most cases female stress is caused by daily bias on the part of society. Women s opinion is being discredited on a regularly basis: from jokes about female logic to bullying of motherhood But an opinion cannot be wrong just because it is shared by a woman All this led to the idea to collect a variety of opinions in a filmstudy named New Femininity Manifesto and to declare what it means to be a woman in Russia nowadays
