Noah Baumbach on White Noise, Family Dynamics, and Personal Adaptations, NYFF60
In the nearly three decades since his first feature, Kicking and Screaming, made its debut at the 33rd NYFF in 1995, Noah Baumbach has been a fixture of the New York filmmaking scene. His latest feature, White Noise, is the Opening Night selection of NYFF60 and is one of the years most gratifyingly ambitious films. We were thrilled to welcome the Oscarnominated filmmaker for an extended conversation with actress Emily Mortimer (whose children, Sam and May Nivola, costar in the film) about how he turned Don DeLillos epochal postmodern 1985 novel into a richly layered work of contemporary satire. NYFF Talks are presented by HBO. More info: Subscribe: Like on Facebook: Follow on Twitter: Follow on Instagram:
