Architects released Doomsday as a standalone single on September 6, 2017. It was their first new music since their seventh studio album All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us (2016), and also the first since the death of guitarist and founding member Tom Searle (released close to the one year anniversary, August 20, 2016).
