Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a progressive muscle wasting disease that affects one in 3, 500 boys worldwide. There is currently no cure, and boys and young men typically pass away in their 20 s and often much younger. Coalition Duchenne is focused on raising global awareness and funding to find treatments and a cure.
