Large Sunspot Group Is Directly Facing Earth and Its Crackling With M Class Solar Flares
Sunspot AR3738 is getting really big. Images by SDO solar spacecraft show how it has grown in the past 5 days. Now almost ten times wider than Earth, the sunspot group is directly facing our planet with a betagamma magnetic field that harbors energy for geoeffective solar flares. Today so far, the active region has produced five Mclass flares and will remain a threat for an Earth directed XFlare. All other regions have been for the most part stable. , largesunspot, solarflare, CME Images credit: AIA, SDO, HMI. nemesis maturity channel, Music credit: YouTube Audio Library The Charmer s Call Hanu Dixit
