Droopy Nose Tip Treatment Nose Tip Lifting and Tip Plasty Operation
In patients with a droopy nasal tip, cartilage graft support is applied to the tip of the nose with open and closed techniques and the droopy nasal tip is eliminated. If this situation occurs after nose surgeries and trauma, more difficult and complicated procedures may be required (for example, cartilage grafts may be required from the auricle or rib). I do not apply too much nose suspension procedures because the nose tip lifting with thread alone is not permanent and there is a risk that thick permanent suture materials may come out of the skin or cause a reaction. In the two videos above, there is a view before and after the open technique nose lifting operation performed on a male patient with a drooping nasal tip.
