Hauschka performs at Minnesota Public Radio

Volker Bertelmann, aka Hauschka, transformed the piano into a multilayered ensemble when he performed in the MPR News Maud Moon Weyerhaeuser studio. The German native specializes in the prepared piano, which features objects Hauschka adds to the strings, including everything from bottle caps to marbles, which enhance and add to the sound of the piano.
