Full title reads: Reading s respectable rag. Students of Britain s youngest University hold their first rag in aid of Royal Berkshire Hospital. Reading University, Berkshire. Various shots of students in fancy dress messing about on a carnival float some have bows and arrows, some are dressed as Vikings, some pretend to be doctors and nurses L, S of float driving through crowd. Various shots of students entertaining a crowd; they unveil a skeleton hanging from a frame and make it dance. Various shots of students pretending to make film; one shouts through a megaphone, another operated pretend camera. A male student in drag (the starlet ) pretends to snog another male student (the hero). The hero is then thrown over a wall by two students dressed as villains. Cuts, out takes start at 01:23:48.
