Bon Jovi, Live at Kaufman Astoria, An Evening With, 30th Anniversary, New York 1992

On October 24th and 25th, Bon Jovi entered the Kaufman Astoria Studios in New York for what was to become the legendary An Evening With concert most of us have grown up with or at least grown to love. That show had the band set the sails for a new journey and marked the final transition of their sounds and looks into the 90 s. Many fans, including me, share the opinion that it s the best concert the band has officially recorded. And from what I ve read at numerous places last week, the time this one aired was a defining moment for many fans out there since, in the preInternet days, you just didn t know what changes were to come and many were thrilled by the band taking some chances there. Now this concert is on Youtube in probably a gazillion variations, including one on this channel from four years ago. This one came from a Japanese Laserdisc release that had been sent to a video restaurator in (I think) Peru about a decade ago. So it was upscaled to HD in the preAI tech
