South Side Kenwood Academy (194) played in the Chicago Public League s title game for the first time in school history when they faced South Side powerhouse Simeon (243) at Chicago State University in front of 6, 000+ fans (hugely Kenwood supporters). Winning his first varsity city title of his career 5449, Simeon senior and leadingscorer Zachary Norvell (Gonzaga) finished with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. He led every aspect of Simeon s first 3 quarters of the game.
