Suite ( Balletto di Stirado e Sarca)

An attempt to recreate the balletpantomime of the first half of the 18th Century. Suite by (16641746) Entrée, Rondeau, Gavotte, Menuet and a story (legend) from the old Bohemian chronicle of Cosmas (11th Century): At the time of War of Women the Bohemian Amazons resolved to capture Stirado (Ctirad) by trick. Vlasta, their leader, consents that Sarka (Šárka) should be tied up and left alone. Stirado forgets to be cautious when he sees the beautiful and seemingly helpless Dancers:
