Take Third and Fifth Daniel J. White, Jess Franco Pedro Iturralde
This tune has had a curious journey. I believe Daniel J. White took his initial inspiration for this tune from the jazz standard, Take Five, composed in 1959 by Paul Desmond, and made famous by the Dave Brubeck Quartet. Apart from the title, both tracks are clearly defined by a quintuple meter, and are built, for the most part, on a swinging alteration between just two chords.
