Earlier this year Neurosis Scott Kelly took us to Oregon s Crater Lake, a volcanic caldera lake that draws travelers from around the world for its clear waters and intense blue color. It s a place that Kelly loves and regularly visits, drawn by its peacefulness and beauty. During our visit there, the singerguitarist performed a solo unplugged rendition of Stones From the Sky, a classic cut off his band s 2001 album A Sun That Never Sets. We present the performance here as episode 2 of our No Distortion series, which features heavymusic artists switching off their amps, stripping down songs and showcasing their more introspective side.
