Alegrías choreographed by Irene Rodríguez to the School at Jacob s Pillow 2019

In 2019 Irene Rodríguez directed and designed the Flamenco and Spanish Dance Program of the School at Jacob s Pillow Dance Festival, school directed by J. R. Glover and with the general festival direction of Pamela Tatge. From all the applications received, Irene chose 25 amazing dancers from different origins: United States, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Hawai. This Alegrías with Abanicos y Mantones was the final result of one week of an intense and lovely work.
