Luke A Mary Sue like Rey ( Response to Cosmonaut Variety Hour)

Some have called Luke Skywalker a Mary Sue like Rey. I disagree completely. Other miscellaneous things: A great way to create a bond between two characters is to have them rescue each other. Rey is never saved except by herself. Rey didn t get a ship all her own. The Millenium Falcon is synonymous with Han Solo just like the XWing is almost synonymous with Luke. Rey didn t get a ship that becomes synonymous with her. Missed opportunity.
