A Trip to London in 1928 in colour HD enhanced AI colourized
This enhanced film shows a trip from Gravesend across the Thames to London in 1928. Among other, the Leicester theater can be seen, as well as the Thames with the Tower Bridge and Victoria Station. Both towers of Tower bridge resemble a stonebuilt building, but in fact the whole bridge is made out of steel with only a brick encasing. The vessel moors not far from the London Tower, famous for its Beafeater guards, beheadings four centuries ago, Traitors Gate and the crown jewels. Tower bridge still opens about half a dozen times a day. The original film has been motionstabilized, speed corrected and enhanced by means of special software.
