Lia Ices Love Is Won

Lia Ices is an American singer, songwriter. Encouraged by her parents, she started playing the piano at a very young age. She studied music at New York Universitys Tisch School of the Arts. Her music is known for being extravagantly avantgarde. She released her debut LP, Necima, in 2008 on New Yorks Rare Book Room records. She was subsequently picked up by Jagjaguwar, home also to Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, who appears for a duet on her new release Grown Unknown.
