Acoustic Adventures with Tony Kakko of Sonata Arctica

SUPPORT US: Sonata Arctica are a Finnish metal band started in 1995 under the name Tricky Beans. With 10 studio albums in their discography, and a bunch of EPs and live albums to along with them, they are a legend in the power metal genre (thoughsinger Tony Kakko would probably dislike that categorization ). Last week I met with Tony, the founder and singer of the band, to discuss their new album, Acoustic Adventures Part I, and also to reflect on family, ageing, and maturity, when you re a touring musician, and Stratovarius huge influence on Sonata Arctica.
