Super Mario Bros. Warpless Speedrun in World Record

In all seriousness, This means a lot to me. I discovered Super Mario Bros. Speedrunning in 2016 with Darbian s Come 2017, I decided to seriously pick up the game for myself. My first big accomplishment happened on New Years Day of 2018, where I completed my first Warps run under 5 minutes. After a number of improvements, I learned Warpless in late 2018. I completed my first time under 20 minutes in October and learned the small fire route shortly after. Coming from any, which, by nature, is an extremely optimized category, it was a breath of fresh air, and I loved it. Some time passed, I finished a 19:09 small fire, and moved on to big fire. After a 19:08, a 19:05, a 19:04, a 19:03, two 19:01s, and an 18:59, I decided that the only next goal was world record. After about two weeks of attempts, a break due to burnout, and one failed attempt at a return to the category, I completed a world record run. This was that run.
