2011 Peugeot 908 LMP1 PURE SOUND Test at Monza 24h Le Mans 2011

Photos here: Today I ve recorded a test at Monza Circuit (Italy) of the new Peugeot 908 for 2011 LMP championship. The track has been wetted by a special water tank. The car hasn t got the racing livery. You can see that there are a lot of new aerodynamic parts like a large engine airintake mounted on top of the engine cover, the fin on the engine cover or the rear wing mounted on a twin swanneck supports. The engine is a 3700cc V8 turbocharged diesel engine. The sound is quite different from the old V12 turbodiesel engine and this V8 sounds a bit more noisy (good thing that :) ). Enjoy watching br, br,
