Tara is a mountain located in Western Serbia. Most of it is a part of National Park Tara. Forests account for three quarters of the national park s area, 160 km2 (62 sq mi), some of them being the best preserved and wellkept in Europe. Tara also has rich flora and fauna including some endemic species which in Serbia can be found only here. Some of most famous viewpoints in Serbia are located on Tara.
