No Kyototrip would be complete without a visit to the bamboo grove in Arashiyama. A beautiful, fairytalelike place, a nationallydesignated Historic Site and Place of Scenic Beauty. It s best to visit there, either early morning or late afternoon, as the place is extremely crowded in between.
