Hello everyone I can t tell you how overwhelmed I felt while working on Epica s Rivers. Back in January when they released it I was going through one of the hardest times of my life. I was literally crying myself to sleep every night while listening to this song. My mom was in hospital. I m extremely grateful that I didn t lose her back then. Now, after 8 months, I finally had the courage to let myself feel the song again. It truly is a masterpiece, Epica did such a great job with this song. Simple, powerful, I hope you ll enjoy my version as well I m definitely far from Simone s greatness, but I did my best.
